I had to shave my head last winter to have surgery and am trying to resist the temptation to cut my hair into something resembling a style - I keep doing that and at this rate I'll never have normal-length hair again. It's come back curly, which is pretty strange to me, since it was very straight before. It's fine and brownish blonde, and totally huge with the new curls. My strategy is to basically keep the sides and back trimmed short and let the top grow a few more inches. What do I do? I assume my hair will be really awkward for a few months to come, but I'd like to avoid that if I can.
